Amy is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO and is passionate about entering into your story as you need to tell it. She is a welcoming and warm presence that you can be sure will be respectful and patient with you. She wants to hear your story as you tell it and gives you space to share what you are experiencing and how you are experiencing it. Whatever you may be wrestling with, she can walk with you and cater your care in a way that is meaningful for you as an individual.

She is open to working with anyone 13 years of age and older, including “seniors,” who are struggling with bereavement/grief, other losses, relationship issues, health changes, spiritual issues, bipolar disorder, and feeling misunderstood.

Amy has received two Masters degrees from Wilfrid Laurier University: an MA specializing in "Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy" and a Master of Divinity. Amy has the experience and knowledge to care for you mentally, emotionally, and spiritually (whatever brings you meaning, hope, and a sense of purpose).

Amy has worked in a variety of settings, including hospice and palliative care, education, and in hospital. She has cared for those being challenged by grief/loss, religion/spirituality, health changes, self-esteem, self-doubt, decision-making, general teen behaviors/emotions, and traumatic childhood experiences. Amy has been described by coworkers and past clients as being easy to talk to, sincere, and insightful. You can trust that Amy will take a collaborative approach to your care to ensure that you are receiving the help that you need.
