We can spend an hour together, and accomplish a lot in that time-but ultimately, the ones who experience the most change and improvement, are people who are committed to the process of their own work. This work can be simple and profound, life giving and exhausting and it is SO worth it. I’ll regularly work with you to help you process trauma, relationship issues, anxiety, panic attacks, uncontrolled anger, life changes and struggles with internal judgement.
I employ an Integrated approach, drawing from various schools of therapy, though focusing on mindfulness, somatic (employing the whole, mind-body system), polyvagal, IFS and AEDP as theoretical foundations. When needed, elements of CBT are part of my practice, though that is not my specialty.
Ultimately, I will be honest, present and as safe as possible with you.
I have suffered heartbreak, failure, traumatic events, too. I am not a perfect therapist & have never had a perfect session. In sessions, sometimes I laugh, sometimes I cry, and sometimes I swear. I'm just a person who does this work because it's probably the thing I care about doing more than any other thing in the world.
