I'm a Registered Psychotherapist, Expressive Arts Therapist and Compassionate Inquiry® Practitioner in private practice seeing clients online and in the east end of Toronto.

My approach is somewhat eclectic and trauma-informed. My fine art and science background plus a lifetime of experiences continually influence how I view the world and inform my approach to therapy.

I believe I come to this line of work honestly. I am no stranger to personal trauma and its repercussions and how profoundly this has affected me. This no doubt has had a major part to play in a lifetime of curiosity about what makes people tick, how their past relates to their present situations and how they can overcome difficulties in their lives however large or small.

My main services include Compassionate Inquiry (CI) – a sensitive and insightful approach to talk therapy, The Clearing Method (CM) – a holistic methodology for soothing core emotional wounds and Expressive Arts Therapy (EXAT) where the arts are utilized therapeutically to explore and address issues that might require a more creative and intuitive approach.

Compassionate Inquiry helps reveal what is underneath what we present to the world. It explores body states and physical sensations that are directly related to emotions, memories, hidden assumptions and beliefs we develop about ourselves. Through this process you can learn to recognize unconscious dynamics that run your life and learn to liberate yourself.

The Clearing Method is a process and approach that helps uncover the root cause of suffering and heals the difficult wounds that lie within.

The Expressive Arts can act as a direct line to your subconscious and is a wonderful complement to the other therapies I offer. By shedding new light on old problems, it works hand-in-hand with your imagination and creativity (no prior art experience is needed) to understand yourself better and to develop alternative perspectives and mindsets.
