As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) under clinical supervision, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to deepen self-understanding, find greater alignment with your values and goals, and explore your story at a pace that feels right for you. My own history with mental health challenges drives my commitment to helping clients build viable coping skills and feelings of empowerment. I believe therapy offers us a rare opportunity to embrace vulnerability, honesty, bravery, change, and introspection – values I centre throughout our journey together.
I welcome all clients, and am especially passionate about working with 2SLGBTQ+, disabled, and/or neurodivergent folks, as well as those navigating the complexities of various types of trauma or co-occurring mental health concerns. Many of my clients struggle with symptoms like anxiety, shame, depression, dissociation, difficulty setting boundaries, concerns related to sex and sexuality, gender, or relationship challenges.
As a queer, disabled, neurodivergent therapist, I take an integrative, anti-oppressive, attachment-oriented, relational, and trauma-informed approach. Grounded in Psychodynamic Therapy, I also draw from Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Schema Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and Somatic Experiencing.
If any of this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out to book a free consult.
