Finding balance and direction in life are challenges we all face. Counselling psychotherapy can help improve your quality of life and achieve your goals. I hold a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. I can help you identify patterns and goals, and equip you with helpful tools to overcome barriers and improve your quality of life. My approach is client-centered and emphasizes psychological flexibility and resilience to effect long-lasting change based on your values.

I use integrated techniques tailored to each client. I a basis of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) that is tailored to clients with strategies from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT), among others. I'll often say that I have many tools on my wall; and our goal is to build you a tailored, nuanced, and flexible toolbox by figuring out which of those tools are suited to you! Ideally your tools will work in many situations, including long after we've stopped working together.

I have trained in ACT for adults, teens, trauma-focused, and in combination with ecotherapy - which is the use of natural environments for therapeutic purposes.
