Is something in your life causing suffering? Do you want to feel better but are unsure how or where to start? Are you a first responder? Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, can help you ease psychological distress and develop the skills to maintain healthy relationships. You may enter therapy for support with overwhelming life challenges, feeling scared, confused or lost, adapting to changes in your health, dealing with loss and grief, or for mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. The basis of my work is to help you identify your core challenges and setbacks and discover patterns you can choose to change.

I specialize in providing tools to help you achieve your goals. My approach is trauma-informed and combines cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and music therapy. I have completed Understanding the Fire Service for Mental Health Clinicians through the International Association of Fire Fighters.

I have extensive experience as a family physician, psychotherapist and medical journalist, and expertise supporting people to cope with life's challenges and improve their mental health. The greatest gift we can give ourselves, loved ones and the universe is personal healing. I look forward to meeting you where you are to help you with this journey.
