Dedicated and compassionate, I specialize in empowering children, teens, and young adults to make meaning, build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and move forward with confidence and hope.
My own struggles and experiences as a young person, along with 13+ years of working in the social service and community mental health fields have shaped my understanding and approach to supporting young people. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard and valued. My work is grounded in attachment theory and using a trauma-informed lens I integrate a variety of approaches—including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) —to meet each client where they are at and tailor my support to their unique needs.
I recognize that a young person’s well-being is often connected to their family environment, so I also incorporate family work into my practice. By fostering open communication and stronger connections, I help families work together toward healthier, more supportive relationships.
