Hello, I am Mary and I am Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), a member of CCPA, and CRPO. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, BA in Psychology from York University and a diploma in Behavioural Science from Seneca College.
I have had experience working with various ages and in multiple settings, such as the foster care system, addiction centres, and the geriatric community, where I brought my behavioural lens to assist clients with neurocognitive degenerative disorders. I utilizes a person-centred approach integrating various modalities, including EMDR therapy, ACT, IFS, CBT and more to develop a tailored treatment for each client’s needs.
I have seen the issues that can present when our mental health, past traumas and current struggles go unhealed. I believe that everyone has the power to become the vision of themselves they aspire to, healthy and happy into old age, and have made it my goal in life to help others discover the power they hold and realize their greatness.
