I gained over 10 years of experience in the mental health field in two provinces and multiple cities before entering into private practice. This includes training and experience in individual, couples and group therapy. Helping others has always been a passion of mine and fuels my desire to be a positive advocate for my clients. I enjoy working with a variety of issues, but I am particularly interested in concerns relating to anxiety including health anxiety, phobia's and OCD, relationship issues, trauma, addictions, domestic violence and chronic illness and pain. I understand both personally and professionally what it is like living with anxiety, chronic illness and pain and use this knowledge and experience to develop a deeper understanding of clients presenting issues.
