Growing up is not always easy and it can often feel overwhelming. One of the hardest parts of being a parent is seeing your child struggle. I can help you sail through the storm. I am a bilingual Registered Social Worker experienced in working with children, adolescents and families. Whether it is a problem with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, parenting challenges, traumatic life events, issues with family transitions, adjustment to school, or peer relationships, you don't have to do it alone.
I use an integrated practice (from CBT, DBT, Narrative, Solution-Focused, Play/Art-based, EFFT, Mindfulness) grounded in an attachment-based framework.
My goal is to explore with you the continuum between change and acceptance, by balancing the need for targeted strategies with meaningful reflective work. I offer a safe place to develop different perspectives so children and youth can make sense of big emotions, and where parents can feel empowered.
