Jennifer is a passionate, curious and soulful Registered Psychotherapist, her therapeutic style is grounded in presence, curiosity and attunement. Together, she collaborates with clients to navigate the transition, identity issues, adjustment, aimlessness, purpose, meaning, waves of emotion, relationships, immense joy, sorrow, loss and change – physical, emotional, and mental. Jennifer warmly opens space for the exploration and loving of ourselves and all of our parts.

Jennifer’s approach to psychotherapy draws from various integrative aspects of Emotion Focused Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems Therapy and Music Integration Therapy. Through individual and group therapy, she strives to create and sustain healing conditions to encourage clients to come home to themselves. Jennifer’s therapeutic approach to be intentional, congruent, present and reflective is mirrored in her sacred relationships with her two young daughters. Jennifer is dedicated to conscious parenting.

Jennifer received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western University and a Masters of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Jennifer also holds an Ontario Graduate Certificate in Addictions Treatment and Prevention from Georgian College. Jennifer’s experience includes addictions counselling and therapy in various rehabilitation centres across Ontario and Quebec. She has also previously held the position of Crisis Interventionist in the emergency department and emergency psychiatric unit of one of Toronto’s major inner-city hospitals. Jennifer has served the greater Toronto population during her tenor attending 911 mental health crisis calls as a Mental Health Crisis Interventionist alongside the paramedics and police service.

Jennifer has been in the counselling field for close to 15 years and currently holds a thriving private virtual therapy practice. Jennifer is also a trained psychedelic-assisted therapist. She has the gift and privilege of therapeutically working with consciousness medicines. Jennifer has a special interest in the effects of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in the treatment of Postpartum Depression.
