I am a dedicated mental health professional with specialized expertise in traumatic brain injury (TBI), chronic illness, mood disorders, and sleep disorders. My passion lies in helping individuals navigate the complexities of their conditions, fostering resilience, and enhancing overall well-being. I understand the profound impact that brain injuries can have on cognitive function, emotional regulation, and daily living. I utilize a holistic approach, integrating therapeutic techniques that address the emotional aspects of recovery.
Living with a chronic illness can be an overwhelming experience, often accompanied by feelings of isolation, anxiety, and depression. My approach involves creating a safe space for clients to express their concerns and fears. I provide support for the emotional effects of chronic illness and work collaboratively to establish personalized coping mechanisms.
I have a strong foundation in treating various mood disorders, including depression, BPD, anxiety and sleep disorders. My therapeutic methods are grounded in evidence-based practices, such as CBT, DBT and mindfulness techniques. My aim is to help clients understand their emotions and develop healthier thought patterns that contribute to long-term wellness.
