Heather is a registered clinical social worker and therapist based in Midland, Ontario. She holds a Social Service Worker Diploma from Georgian College (2011), an Honours Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Laurentian University (2014), and a Master of Social Work degree from York University (2016).
Throughout her career, Heather has developed extensive skills in social work practice, including crisis intervention, risk assessment, and therapeutic treatment. She has experience working with individuals in crisis, particularly in areas such as addiction recovery and acute mental health.
Her extensive experience includes leadership positions, and frontline roles in social services, crisis intervention, housing support and outreach, as well as perinatal mental health. She has provided clinical supervision to community mental health teams and qualifying therapists in addition to consultation within hospital and community health settings.
Heather is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). She is dedicated to helping clients overcome personal challenges and achieve their goals through effective communication and a variety of counselling techniques.
