Ameena graduated with a joint HBASc degree in Family and Community Social Services and a diploma in Social Service Work. She is a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Ameena is currently completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and plans to pursue doctoral studies. 

Ameena has knowledge and experience with working with individuals from various cultural backgrounds, religions, and socioeconomic identities. She supports many powerhouse individuals, including C-suite executives, former Olympians, members of the healthcare community, and entrepreneurs. She also supports individuals in marginalized and underserved communities. Creating a reality where Mental Health care and education are accessible and affordable is a significant goal of hers. 

Ameena believes her practice allows her to show up for others in the most healing and supportive ways. Her therapeutic style is individual-centred, supportive, rational, and mindful.
