Tina holds a Master of Education degree in Educational Counselling from the University of Ottawa and a B.A. (Honours) in Psychology from Carleton University. She has worked in the mental health field for nearly 20 years in a variety of environments including research settings, hospitals, universities and private practice. Tina works from a client-centered approach, focusing on developing a collaborative working relationship and providing emotional support for adults. She works with individuals with issues such as Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Trauma, Burnout, Parenting, Divorce, Chronic Pain, and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). She uses a combination of techniques tailored to each individual client, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), brainspotting, mindfulness, internal family systems, narrative, and solution-focused therapy. Tina is also trained in High Performance Neurofeedback, a specific type of brain biofeedback directed toward the renormalization of the brain and central nervous system. Tina’s services are covered under most insurance plans.
