I hold a Master of Psychology (M.Psy.) from the Adler Faculty of Psychology in Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Specialized Honours Psychology from York University, Toronto. Additionally, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, with a focus on social planning, from Allameh Tabatabaei University in Tehran, Iran. I completed my Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy (DCP) at Yorkville University in New Brunswick in April 2025, with my graduation ceremony scheduled for June 5, 2025.
Since June 2021, I have been licensed to practice independently in clinical and rehabilitation psychology, with experience working with adult populations (18+). My areas of specialization include mood disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, post trauma symptoms related to motor vehicle or workplace incidents, coping skills, emotional disturbances, self-esteem issues, somatic symptoms, and chronic pain.
I do not provide treatment for individuals presenting with personality disorders, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, substance use disorders, psychotic symptoms, schizophrenia, ADHD, or autism spectrum disorder.
