I have really enjoyed empowering clients to abstain from problematic behaviours and substances. I also appreciate fostering secure attachment with clients who have limited or no support systems. I believe all humans are resilient, and that we can process our trauma and reduce the intensity of physical and emotions symptoms, and improve our overall quality of life.

I created, managed, and provided group and individual counselling at a non-profit organization for 6 years. I have a trauma processing certification through ATTACH Niagara. I have a post-graduate diploma in Concurrent Disorders and completed my student placement in the Schizophrenia Outpatient Clinic in Hamilton.
