I am a Registered Psychotherapist bringing my lived experience of various countries, cultures, paths and peoples into my therapy practice.
Graduating from the Spiritual Psychotherapy program at Transformational Arts College of Spiritual and Holistic Training, I have a particular interest in working with clients who already see or wish to see themselves as whole – mind, body and spirit. I often use Body-Centred Psychotherapy and Somatic Experiencing with clients, facilitating for clients a deeper connection with their embodied journey and their own wisdom within.
I have a background in Vision Rehabilitation Therapy, Acquired Brain Injury Lifeskills Facilitation, and Eldercare. I am currently completing my training to become a practitioner of The Havening Techniques®. I have a great love of learning and anticipate continuing to learn new approaches to wellness and wholeness for the rest of my life.

Recently a client in the midst of some very challenging relationship dynamics took a few months away from home for personal growth and came to me for weekly in-person psychotherapy sessions. After a couple of months this client returned home feeling good about their inner work and personal growth and ready to re-enter their life and relationships. Two weeks later, we met again for our scheduled virtual session and this client told me of the completely unexpected, hurtful, challenging situation they had returned to, a situation which included almost every single trigger they could ever have imagined. I listened in shock to what had unfolded for my client upon their return....and then I took in their body language and their tone and listened further as they told me how each of the tools they had learned, each of the skills they been working with, how it all came together for them in that moment, in that unbelievable situation, and how they were able to acknowledge the triggers and shift into their chosen responses, responses that were in alignment with who they wanted to be and now knew themselves to be. They were able in that moment and in the weeks following, to respond rather than react, to choose how they wanted to show up in the world, and to live from a sense of inner congruence and authenticity. That is such a success story to me!
