I am a Registered Social Worker and a Certified Addiction Counselor and have worked as a therapist in the field of mental health and substance use for many years however, recently turned my attention to learning about and working with adult clients who struggle with symptoms of ADHD. Often, we do not realize the impact ADHD has on our lives and our ability to feel successful day to day. Many of the clients, I have worked with in the past, who struggle with substance use or anxiety, often have underlying ADHD. I also struggle with these same symptoms and am fascinated by how differently our brains work. I have taken numerous courses and am a member of Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance. I also have training in various other treatment modalities including CBT.
