Lisa is a registered social worker in Ontario with many years of experience working with children, adolescents and families. Lisa offers individual and family counseling services. Her practice uses a range of evidence-based interventions including but not limited to emotion focused therapy, gottman method couples therapy and solution focused therapy. She brings with her a well-rooted anti-oppressive, and anti-discriminatory framework.

Lisa brings passion and energy to working with children and adults who are experiencing difficulties including: anxiety, relationship issues, adjustment issues, general life stressors, family and peer relationship difficulties, self-esteem, regulating emotions, difficulties in family change (i.e. separation and divorce, ailing parent) as well as bereavement, grief and loss. Her caring and compassionate approach focuses on the individual's unique life circumstances and specific needs. She has an open approach that encourages individuals to express their feelings and discuss life experiences.

Lisa encourages her clients to realize their inherent strengths in a safe and non-judgemental environment. She is committed to helping her clients achieve the changes they wish to see in their lives. Lisa views therapy as a collaborative approach that allows her to establish a solid therapeutic partnership with her clients. She looks forward to exploring any struggles or hardships you may be dealing with. Lisa will create a safe, non-judgemental space for you to overcome your past traumas while fostering growth and development.
