I’m a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Carleton University in Ottawa and 15 years of experience in mental health and healthcare. I understand the complexities and challenges of navigating mental health, and I’m here to provide a supportive, compassionate, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. My goal is to create a safe and nurturing space where you can feel comfortable exploring difficult emotions and experiences, particularly around body image, eating disorders, and life’s many transitions.
In our work together, I draw from therapy approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Brainspotting. I believe in meeting each person where they are, and I tailor my approach to align with your unique needs and goals.
I work with both youth and adults who may be experiencing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, grief, and body image or eating concerns from a weight-inclusive perspective. Whether you’re dealing with overwhelming emotions or navigating a difficult life transition, I’m here to support you in finding a path that feels right for you.
