Samantha is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She completed her Master's degree in Counselling Psychology at Western University and holds an Honours degree in Psychology with a Major in Criminal Justice from Brescia University College. Samantha discovered her passion for complex mental health when she completed research at a local Withdrawal Management Centre. She later pursued a position at the organization where she developed strong crisis intervention skills and supported individuals who were acutely intoxicated, in severe withdrawal, experiencing psychosis, or facing chronic homelessness. Following this experience, her goal as a practitioner became to adopt a trauma-informed perspective and bear witness to others' lived experiences.

Samantha works with adults over 18. Samantha specializes in treating individuals struggling with addictive behaviors, PTSD or complex PTSD, grief and loss, and those who wish to develop emotional regulation skills.

Samantha's goal as a therapist is to ensure her clients never feel alone when they experience life's peaks and valleys. She aims to help her clients identify and process what is preventing them from achieving their goals. Through her own personal experience, Samantha has a special interest in helping people cultivate strength and resiliency when navigating traumatic experiences, and aims to help them identify where they get "stuck". Samantha is passionate about helping others build their sense of self, find hope, and understand that they are deserving of love, care, and respect.

She strongly believes in the importance of lifelong learning and regularly seeks opportunities to grow as a practitioner. Samantha works collaboratively with her clients, holding a non-judgmental, calm, and compassionate space. Samantha uses an integrated approach that often includes EMDR therapy, Sensorimotor psychotherapy, DBT skills, and structural dissociation theory.
