I have 13+ years experience working in the field of addictions and mental health. I am a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario. Presently, I have an office in Cobourg. My strengths are addictions (behavioral/ substances), mental health, ADHD, life transitions and emotional eating. I work from the Health At Every Size approach in assisting you in repairing your relationship with food and your body. I am approachable and non-judgmental; I will work collaboratively with you to assist you in meeting your goals. We all benefit from balanced wellness: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Therapy can assist in all areas!
Give a person a fish and they will eat for a day. Teach a person to fish and they will eat for a lifetime." My goal is to teach you to eat for a lifetime to learn to cope and to have a better understanding of yourself through the process.
I offer a compassionate and understanding perspective to your challenges, grounded in both experience and theory. I offer a unique respectful therapeutic experience that is informed by the authenticity of life, adversity, joy, love, and academic training.
