I provide a safe space free of judgement for clients to explore themselves without constraint. Some of my key areas of work are: anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, relationship issues, self esteem and personality disorders. I practice integrative therapy, which means I am well-versed in various frameworks, and tailor my approach to the success of the individual. People are unique, and your therapy should be too.
I work from an evidence-based, scientific framework, and focus on helping people to build resilience, coping skills and gain self-awareness. I also work frequently with trauma and PTSD; particularly family of origin experiences and developmental trauma. I am one of the few therapists trained in Reconsolidation Therapy, a ground-breaking therapy to address the effects of complex PTSD.
In my couples work, I often help those dealing with infidelity, struggling with communication, parenting and feeling disconnected from their partner. I also work with family dynamics and non-traditional models of family.
I am a registered provider with NIHB for Indigenous Canadians and with Blue Cross/Medavie for Veterans (direct billing). I also work closely with the LGBTQ+ community and first responders.
