Jessa:
I am currently working towards the completion of my Master’s in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University.
I firmly believe in the inherent worth and resilience of every individual. My therapeutic style is grounded in creating a non-judgmental space where clients can openly discuss their experiences. Through a humanistic and strength-based lens, I emphasize the importance of self-acceptance and self-compassion. I empower clients to cultivate a constructive mindset for personal growth.
My warm and empathetic nature fosters a strong connection, creating a supportive and compassionate environment. I create a safe and trusting space where individuals feel heard, understood, and accepted. My goal is to help clients tap into their inner resilience and empower them to make meaningful transformations and lead fulfilling lives.
In my work with new parents, my personal experience as a parent enhances my empathetic and understanding approach to navigating the transformative power of this stage of life. I provide a compassionate and supportive space grounded in recognizing strengths and innate abilities, empowering clients to embrace their new roles and find balance amidst the challenges they face.
I provide a personalized approach that incorporates elements of Client-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). My focus is on establishing a supportive and empathetic atmosphere where you feel genuinely heard and understood. In our work together, we will explore personal narratives, find practical personalized solutions, and work to harmonize conflicting aspects of your identity.
