I am a Registered Social Worker, registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers, having earned my Master’s degree from Yeshiva University- Wurzweiler School of Social Work. I am a professional member of International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals and am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. My clinical practice focuses on treating difficulties with anxiety and stress, mood and depression, addiction, relationships, coping with chronic or stress-related medical illness and other psychological/emotional issues, through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Relational Life Therapy and traditional psychotherapy.

I have a special interest and specialized training in treating individuals suffering from addictions and trauma, specifically behavioral addictions including sex, pornography, internet, online gaming and gambling addiction, as well as substance addictions including alcohol, drug and chemical addictions. I also provide extensive sex/ pornography addiction assessments and evaluations.

Addiction is often the result of an unidentified mental health problem and/or unresolved trauma. My approach is to address the underlying issues contributing to the addiction by individualizing the mental health treatment plan in order to advance your long-term objectives of sobriety, develop healthy relationships and experience an overall improved quality of life.
