Although my current focus is on couples I also have extensive experience, as an employee and in my own practice, working with individuals, families, and groups facing a wide range of mental health and life challenges including anger management, anxiety, depression, addictions, and abuse (perpetrators and victims), etc. I effectively integrate a plethora of models including, but not exclusive to CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, EET, Psychodynamic, etc., but lean toward approaches that are collaborative, strength-based, empowering, and responsive to people's diversity and uniqueness.

The second biggest factor leading to positive changes in therapy is the "therapeutic relationship" between client and therapist. (The first is the strengths that clients bring to therapy). That I still hear from former clients that I worked with decades ago speaks to successes that they have had and the positive experiences they had had of therapy with me.
