Chantel owns and operates Assessment, Counselling and Consultation Services in Midland, Ontario. Areas of focus include assessment, consultation, community outreach, and family, couple, individual, and group psychotherapy. Additionally, in private practice Chantel has had a great deal of therapeutic exposure to the devastating impact of divorce on all family members. Chantel owns and operates Fairway Divorce Solutions in Barrie where she derives great pleasure from helping divorcing couples reach agreements that are in the best interest of all family members involved. Chantel’s doctorate level clinical skills and experience combined with mediation education and mediation skills training are invaluable in the mediation context. Chantel strongly believes that how you handle your divorce will significantly impact the rest of your life and so it is critical that you make thoughtful choices throughout the process.
Chantel also shares an office with Dr. Dino Mavrou (Chiropractor). Although the link between chiropractic work and psychology may not be obvious, many of the physical diseases that represent a large proportion of today's health crisis have a variety of behavioural risk factors. Chantel plays an active role in health promotion at Mavrou Chiropractic and provides treatment that targets the decrease of these behaviours. More specifically, thoughts, feelings, and actions have an impact on chiropratic patients' response to chiropractic treatment and their overall level of adjustment.
