I have 5 years of experience working with individuals over the age of 20, through in-person and online sessions.
I offer psychotherapy on stressors related to stress, overwhelm and difficulty coping; navigating painful life changes; the impact of childhood trauma / challenges; relationship issues (including covert control/narcissistic abuse); and anxiety and depression.
I also work with individuals who don’t have significant issues, and who rather wish to explore how to create a more meaningful and purposeful life, and experience fulfilling relationships.
My approach focuses on developing an understanding of what has shaped you and the purposeful nature of your struggles and challenges – there is a level on which it makes sense; and then identifying and developing those experiences, capacities and skills that can support you to reshape yourself in ways that are more congruent with your values and goals.
My approach is informed by my many life experiences, including as a management consultant living and working with culturally diverse groups of people in England, South Africa and parts of Europe. I have lived in Canada for 13-years, and have experience of the physical, emotional and mental effort involved in immigrating and rebuilding an experience of 'home'.
