Ailidh works with couples (or other pairs such as friends, siblings, colleagues), families, and individuals. She works with people at all stages of life, from their late teens through to their senior years. Ailidh is particularly interested in helping you find your way to happier, more fulfilling relationships—whether with partners, children, family, friends, colleagues, or yourself!
Ailidh is warmly compassionate, and her approach to therapy is grounded in the vision of human flourishing – of YOU flourishing. Whatever is bothering you, it can help to share it. Together, we create a safe space to hold your feelings, concerns, and problems. Together, we look at your current strengths and strategies, where they come from, and what they mean. This is the work of understanding, to make sense of what’s going on for you, right now, and how to envision – and live! – a more vibrant, zestful life.
Ailidh's practice uses parts work/IFS and Emotion Focussed Therapy, which are well-studied, effective means of personal growth.
