Welcome to this space where we make room for what lies beneath the surface.

My work with individuals often engages with the bodymind system to manage mental health struggles and support the healing process. Sessions are collaborative so that we can find tools that work for you to self-regulate in order to move through the many challenges that life can bring.

I will provide you with tools to enable you to cope with the challenges you are facing as we also make room for you to find and connect with the wisdom you already have within you. I will help you find your breath, find your footing, and gain tools to support your personal goals. Your needs are important, and this is a safe space where you can process your experiences.

Our work together often includes mindfulness, the nervous system, cognitive strategies, breathwork, somatic experiencing, internal family systems, attachment, community, and nature. My practice specializes in (but is not limited to) supporting those who struggle with physical symptoms such as muscle tension, headaches, IBS, chronic pain, burnout, exhaustion, etc. which are often related to or intensified by stress and trauma.

My practice seeks to be trauma-informed, socially just, accessible, culturally responsive, racially allied, compassionate, and rooted in anti-oppression, pro-liberation efforts to decolonize psychotherapy. I am open to accountability in these efforts. We will process collaboratively together as you move toward a deeper sense of health & connection.

We meet online so that this work is accessible to wherever you are!

Book a FREE 15-Minute Virtual Consultation if you would like to see if we are a good fit to work together on whatever it is you are struggling with.

I look forward to meeting you very soon.

Success Story

Everyone has their own journey, preferences, and needs, and so we will work together to find what strategies are best for you.

My clients have found profound growth, healing, and even peace in work that they do to not only reflect through "talk-based therapy" and cognitive strategies, but also by weaving that through learning to get to know and incorporate the rest of their body as well.

Our life is impacted by what happens to and around our physical bodies, and our bodies impact the way we experience and move through life. It is only by also engaging with and supporting our bodies alongside our brain-based work that true and lasting healing and regulation is possible – indeed our brains and bodies are interconnected, and not so compartmentalized or separate as our culture has often taught us!

This incorporation of the body looks very different client to client: some clients simply learn to embrace and process their emotional world, and feel more capable to listen and move through different emotional states. Some clients familiarize themselves more with the breath, and use it intentionally as a tool to support their mental health work. Some clients love to dive in somatically and listen to the subtle messages and changes in their physiology. Some clients only want and need to work cognitively for a long time, before they feel ready for or interested in exploring how it all is interconnected. This work is different for everyone, and with my various specialties we will find what feels most suitable for you.
