Psychotherapy Provider (Couple and/or family therapist)

I am a Registered Social Worker trained in family therapy. I work with individuals, couples, and families touched by medical concerns, disabilities, special needs, emotional issues, and the everyday stresses of family life. My work involves walking with people through difficult times and helping them find the hope that things do get better.
Every person is unique and has inherent strengths and resiliency. Even in the most despairing times, there can be hope. Problems are complex and often need to be seen through a number of different lenses and perspectives to find the best way to overcome them. Even the smallest change can have big effects on your well being.
As a therapist I provide a flexible, gentle, and collaborative approach to talking with people about the problems that are influencing their lives in order to find respectful and effective solutions together. For more information visit my website at www.andrearawson.com
Please call or email me with questions you may have about counselling. I offer a free 15 minute phone consult to help determine if working with me would be a good fit for you.

The most common thing I hear from people after meeting with them is that it was such a relief to have finally found a place to talk about issues that have been on their hearts and minds for a while. It is amazing to see how having a time and space to explore concerns can really start to move people into solutions that they hadn't thought possible.
