Hi there, I’m Blair. I’m glad that you found your way to my profile. I work with teens and adults who are experiencing difficult emotions, interpersonal challenges, and questions related to identity growth and development. I am especially passionate about working with those who have experienced traumatic events, challenging upbringings, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. My counselling approach is grounded in self-compassion, which encourages kindness towards oneself, and the understanding that difficult times are not a sign of personal failure.
My goal is to support you in developing and drawing upon your strengths to navigate and grow from challenges. I believe that you already have the ability within yourself to live a joyful and fulfilling life, you may just need some dedicated time and space to work through the hard parts.
I practice through a lens of harm reduction, equity, and inclusion. This means that I prioritize the safety and autonomy of marginalized identities, and take a practical approach to minimize the negative outcomes of substance use and self-harm behaviours. If you think we may be a good fit, I encourage you to get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you!
Services are virtual.

Success Story
My proudest moment as a psychotherapist was the first time I discharged a client after successfully treating their PTSD. I had sought out the skills to treat PTSD specifically because of this client's story, and having connected with one another in this way, the course of their life and the course of my career was forever changed.
