I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO #008365) and the owner of So You Need Therapy, a Toronto-based practice. I work with adults navigating ADHD, complex trauma, autism, and the conditions that often accompany them — anxiety, depression, and longstanding patterns of coping that have stopped working.
My approach is integrative, drawing on psychodynamic, somatic, trauma-informed, Internal Family Systems, and solution-focused work, calibrated to what each client needs. I see clients both in person in Toronto and virtually across Ontario.
Medication is often part of the picture for the clients I work with, and I think it's important that therapy and medication management work in step with each other rather than in separate silos. I have a working understanding of how psychiatric medications function — what they can and can't do, how they interact with the therapeutic work — and I collaborate closely with the nurse practitioners at my clinic who handle medication management. That coordination means a client's care is considered as a whole, rather than split across providers who never speak to each other.
I bring a woman's perspective, an immigrant's perspective, and over a decade of leadership experience prior to clinical training.

Success Story
Many of the adults I work with arrive after years of being treated for one piece of a larger picture — managing anxiety or low mood without anyone asking what sat underneath it. In ongoing therapy, a clearer pattern often emerges. In cases where a psychiatric question becomes central — a diagnosis worth confirming, or a medication approach that needs specialist input — being able to request a consultation and sit in on it has changed the course of the work. Clients leave that process with a clearer understanding of themselves, and the therapy that follows is more focused because the open clinical question has been answered.
