Iris is a therapist intern with a passion for helping people navigate personal and relationship challenges with empathy and practical support. Her style is warm and genuine. She’ll follow your lead, gently challenge you at times, and help you set meaningful goals to move forward.
Iris integrates evidence-based practices tailored to what works best for her clients, including Emotion Focused Therapy to uncover and work through deeper emotions and conflicts, and mindfulness-based behavioral approaches to shift patterns of behavior.

As someone who’s navigated two decades of marriage and parenting, work-life balance, and career changes, Iris offers empathy and lived insight.
Before becoming a therapist, Iris spent over 20 years as a creative professional, which shaped her belief in the power of creativity for personal growth. She appreciates weaving creativity and mindfulness into therapy to help clients discover new perspectives and build resilience.
Outside of her work as a therapist, Iris has volunteered with youth and supported vulnerable individuals through the Distress Centres of Greater Toronto. In her free time, she enjoys painting, drawing, yoga, and spending time outdoors with her family.
Areas of focus: Managing anxiety, self-esteem, stress/burnout, emotion regulation, improving relationships, supporting couples and families, and navigating career or life transitions.
