PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Joseph began his mental health journey as a volunteer at a distress center, where he supported individuals experiencing poverty, disability, loneliness, and suicidal ideation. These early experiences deepened his belief in the importance of accessible and compassionate mental health care.
He further developed his clinical skills through a practicum at the From Intention to Action (FITA) program at Carleton University, where he supported post-secondary students facing depression, trauma, low self-esteem, academic stress, ADHD, and interpersonal difficulties. His work focused on helping clients enhance well-being and build the skills to reach personal and academic goals.
