When you meet me in session my first priority is to ensure you feel safe and heard. I want to welcome you to bring all the parts of you into our therapeutic relationship in a comfortable and compassionate space.
I utilize a person-centered lens to help clients reach their goals, foster hope, and create the life they desire. I have extensive experience working with trauma survivors and their partners. My background in trauma and neurosurgical ICU nursing informs my holistic view. Using a biopsychosocial lens we can work together to help you reach your desired result.
My life has been centered around helping people achieve their optimal state of wellness and functioning. I work in a client-centered, evidence-informed, and strengths-based manner. I hold the conviction that everyone possesses the innate capacity for self-healing; it is my goal to guide you, the expert of your life, towards your desired wellness level in the safety of the therapeutic alliance. Working collaboratively and without judgment, I aim to provide a highly empathetic and safe space. My core values include integrity, family, safety, and justice.
