My clients dare to make changes because they want to feel like themselves again or they seek a better quality of life. Through varying approaches, I work to empower individuals to find solutions to overwhelming emotional challenges and issues relating to mental illness. These may be instances of divorce, abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety, work/family stress, children's school issues, cultural adaptation, or reintegration from military service; all areas in which I have professional training and 23 years of Social Work expertise. In addition to being a therapist, I am a qualified suicide intervention trainer, leader of Gottman psychoeducational groups for couples, a former research co-investigator, clinical supervisor and School Board Mental Health Lead.
