John-Paul Austring is a Registered Psychotherapist and a Registered Social Worker who draws from his extensive education in psychology and social work. He provides therapy and coaching through a primarily Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) lens. With over 12 years of professional experience, combined with his own lived experiences of overcoming serious life challenges, John-Paul offers compassionate and insightful support to those navigating life’s toughest moments.
Specializing in working with clients who have ADHD, John-Paul provides tailored strategies to help individuals manage symptoms, build executive functioning skills, and foster a greater sense of control and accomplishment in their daily lives. His approach emphasizes understanding each client’s unique challenges and strengths, empowering them to navigate life with confidence and resilience.
John-Paul also has extensive experience supporting individuals diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). He offers a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and develop healthier coping mechanisms. His therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy and the belief in each person’s potential to grow and thrive.
In addition to his work with ADHD and BPD, John-Paul has a deep commitment to helping clients struggling with substance use and addiction.
