My passion for mental health is deeply personal—I know firsthand how heavy it can be to carry grief, especially while navigating trauma, the challenges of relationships and responsibilities. I know how life-changing it can be to feel supported, understood, and truly seen. I strive to "be the person I needed" during periods of struggle and big transitions in life.

My life journey, so far, has shaped the way I see the world—being a first-generation, biracial Canadian that grew up in Saskatchewan, gives me a deep appreciation for the diversity of people's experiences, as well as the beauty in the complexity of their identities. In 2007, I moved to Ontario, and throughout my life, I spent summers traveling across the ocean to be able to visit family. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of what it means to navigate change, transition, and the feeling of never quite being settled in one "home." They have also given me a profound respect for diversity in customs and culture.

Academically, I earned my MSc in Public Health and Health Systems at the University of Waterloo and I complyted my MSW at the University of Windsor. My background in public health, health systems, and social work gives me a unique lens on personal, community, and systemic issues, which I incorporate into my practice, inspiring advocacy at all levels.

I have experience working with first responders, healthcare professionals, caregivers, and others in high-stress roles, as well as families, of all kinds, navigating conflict. Using an integrative approach—drawing from Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Narrative Therapy, and the Gottman Method—I tailor sessions to each person’s needs. My work often includes practical, hands-on activities to help clients reconnect with themselves, find meaning, and build resilience.

Beyond therapy, I find joy in music, poetry, and visual art, and I have a soft spot for small animals, especially cats. When I’m not working, you’ll find me at home or off on an adventure with my family.
