David Klauke practices counselling and therapy in Toronto and North York under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Registered Psychological Associate who are members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

David Klauke is a clinical member of the Ontario Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and has operated his practice in therapy for the previous 11 years. Prior to starting his practice, David completed his BA in Sociology at York University and his Masters of Divinity at Tyndale Seminary. David worked as a minister in a local church for four years before returning to school.

David’s interaction with clients in therapy draws from the perspective that people are physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual beings. Clients, and their issues, are considered within their larger circle of relationships and within the varied contexts of their life. David’s approach considers both the intrapersonal and interpersonal dimensions as he works with clients.

David has been married for since 1983 and along with his wife, has raised four children. He was raised on a farm, worked in fisheries research, farmed with his father as an adult, worked in snow removal and decorative stone work, and worked as a minister. David has lived in both rural and urban communities and has been active within community sports as player and coach. All of this has contributed to a life rich in experiences that enhances his ability to work with a wide range of clients and their varied presenting issues.
