Hello, my name is Jasmin Baird (she/her), and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brock University in 2013, I went on to Mohawk College in 2015, where I completed a graduate program in Concurrent Disorders. From there I worked in the non-profit sector for four years, working primarily with substance abuse clients until 2018, before working in private practice.
I value the therapeutic relationship and have experience in many different areas of therapy. I take an attachment-based approach and pull from multiple evidence-based therapeutic approaches including internal family systems therapy (IFS), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), mindfulness and meditation to help my clients learn to cope and overcome challenges. I have a particular interest in working with clients who have loved ones living with borderline personality disorder (BPD).
