I am a registered psychotherapist based in Ontario, working with individuals and couples. I am deeply passionate about integrative therapy and draw on attachment theory, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and somatic approaches to support meaningful and lasting change. With over 17 years of experience in body-based clinical practice (massage therapy and neuro-functional acupuncture) prior to psychotherapy, I bring a strong mind-body perspective to my work. I am particularly interested in how attachment patterns, early relational experiences, nervous system regulation, and lived meaning shape emotional and relational dynamics. My work focuses on helping clients develop greater emotional flexibility, self-compassion, effective communication, and more secure, responsive relationships.

Success Story

A client came to therapy struggling with chronic anxiety, emotional reactivity, and increasing strain in their primary relationship following a traumatic motor vehicle accident that resulted in ongoing post-concussion symptoms. Daily life felt unpredictable and overwhelming, and the client reported feeling disconnected from their body, their partner, and their sense of competence at work.

Therapy focused on helping the client understand their nervous system responses to stress and injury, develop self-compassion around cognitive and emotional changes, and learn ways to pause and respond more intentionally rather than react automatically. Over time, the client reported a marked reduction in anxiety, greater emotional steadiness, and more effective communication with their partner during moments of conflict.

As their confidence grew, the client returned to work with clearer boundaries, improved self-trust, and a renewed sense of agency in navigating grief-related and intrusive thoughts. By the end of therapy, they described feeling more present in their relationships and better equipped to manage both the psychological and physiological impacts of their injury.
