I provide support through here and now relating where I share my authentic self, and the impact you, the client, has on me in a safe, supportive, honest way. Through dialogue, and creative experiments in sessions, the only goal is to challenge and to support greater awareness, contact, and expression of your true authentic self, a self not guided by old creative adjustments, (learned behavior patterns from childhood traumas) that are not supporting your existence and how you are in relationship with others, including me.

I cannot "fix" you, my belief through a Gestalt therapy lens is, is that you are already whole, you just need support in embracing how, and what you are doing. To me, "the why" doesn't matter. I am not a psychiatrist, I do not make diagnoses, I am not here to judge, and I am here to support you in your process of healing, and coming back to seeing, and experiencing yourself as whole again.

I am open to creating, and supporting Gestalt Therapy Process Groups (GTPG) in the Niagara Region. Created an evidence based pilot program for my dissertation called Stressed WOW -We Overloaded with Work which evaluated this brief gestalt therapy group's effectiveness for reducing stress in working informal caregivers of the elderly. I believe this type of group therapy is transferable to many populations- both children and adults, with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and addictions, woman suffering from postpartum depression, and people suffering from PTSD (to name a few). Furthermore, I believe group process could be a much more effective, and definitely more economical way to gain support, gain awareness of the self in relation to the other, and make contact with people who are suffering in similar ways. I am open to creating fixed and/or ongoing therapy groups to meet individual, and/or organizational needs. Please feel free to contact me to discuss the possibility of a specific group you may be interested in attending, or would like support offering.

Success Story

After twenty years of experience with various types of personal therapy, Gestalt individual therapy, and Gestalt group therapy changed my life. I never experienced such deep healing that got me out of my own way! Over the years, I have also seen, and experienced how many people have experienced new levels of hope through self acceptance, reclaiming of personal potential, and success with breaking old patterns by engaging in the therapy process using a gestalt therapy framework.

Being "influenced" by gestalt therapy, or "using" gestalt therapy t "techniques" does not mean one is "doing" or is "engaged" in gestalt therapy. Gestalt is a complex therapy that requires many years of formal training. It is not mainstream. It is for people who have tried CBT, and other forms of therapy, and therapists in the past, and are still suffering, still not feeling whole. It is also for those who have never been in therapy, and are finally wanting to look at themselves, with another, and "do the work of a warrior". Gestalt therapy is a "doing", and "feeling" therapy. I have used this methodology with hundreds of clients to co-create/provide a way towards profound healing, and self awareness, leading to greater contact, and authenticity.

While each of my clients are different, the one thing I have learned, is that we all suffer, we all need support, and we all need to come back to our authentic selves, hence the name of my website,

Take a look, or take a risk and email me, or call me today, and let’s talk about how, and I can support you.
