I am a Registered Social Worker with over 20 years of clinical experience supporting high-functioning professionals and caregivers who are often described as “the strong one.” They appear capable and composed externally, yet privately feel exhausted, anxious, perfectionistic, or disconnected from themselves.

Many of the individuals referred to my practice have been managing chronic stress for years. Over time, this can begin to show up as disrupted sleep, burnout, self-doubt, relationship strain, or difficulty sustaining performance in high-demand roles. My work focuses on restoring steadiness, rebuilding self-trust, and creating sustainable change — not just short-term symptom relief.

I specialize in working with professionals navigating:

Anxiety and chronic stress
Burnout and occupational strain
Perfectionism and high self-criticism
Trauma-related stress responses
Mood concerns within high-functioning individuals
Life transitions impacting identity, confidence, or relationships

You do not need to identify a specific traumatic event for trauma-informed therapy to be effective. Long-term stress and relational patterns can shape the nervous system in similar ways. My approach integrates evidence-based psychotherapy with compassion-focused and mindfulness-informed practices, grounded in emotional safety, collaboration, and intentional pacing.
Therapy with me is both practical and reflective. Clients develop tools for emotional regulation and clarity while also gaining insight into the deeper patterns influencing how they relate to themselves and others.

I am best suited for clients who are motivated for thoughtful, steady work and are ready to move beyond coping toward lasting personal growth.

Sessions are provided virtually across Ontario. I collaborate comfortably with physicians and allied professionals when appropriate.
