I am a fluently bilingual (English/French) Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) based in Ottawa, Ontario, providing trauma-informed psychotherapy services to adults. I hold a Master of Counselling Psychology degree from City University of Seattle and registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO #20998) under the clinical supervision of Mandy Paquette, RP (CRPO #006516).
My practice focuses on supporting individuals experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, work-related stress, grief, relationship difficulties, and the lasting impacts of childhood sexual abuse, including intrafamilial abuse. I also have extensive experience working with Veterans, first responders, and individuals navigating complex life transitions.
I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal-informed interventions, and Solution-Focused Therapy. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs, strengths, and goals.
In addition to my clinical experience, I bring over fifteen years of experience in the federal public service, where I worked in leadership, project management, governance, and client-focused roles. This background provides me with a strong understanding of workplace stress, organizational dynamics, career transitions, and the unique challenges faced by public servants and professionals.
My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences, develop new coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.

Success Story
One success that I am particularly proud of was completing my Master of Counselling Psychology Capstone, which focused on how adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse rebuild trust, intimacy, and meaningful connection in adulthood. Through an extensive review of current research, I examined the long-term relational impacts of trauma and explored therapeutic approaches that support healing, resilience, and post-traumatic growth.
This project was especially meaningful because it required me to integrate academic research, lived experience, clinical training, and a deep commitment to trauma-informed practice. The final paper synthesized contemporary literature on attachment, relational healing, shame, resilience, and therapeutic interventions, with the goal of providing practical guidance for counsellors working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
Completing the Capstone strengthened my clinical thinking, research skills, and ability to translate evidence into practice. More importantly, it reinforced my passion for supporting individuals who have experienced trauma and highlighted the importance of creating therapeutic relationships grounded in safety, trust, collaboration, and empowerment. The successful completion of this work represents both a significant academic achievement and an important milestone in my development as a psychotherapist.
